Hearty Beef Stew

1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1" cubes
1 lb. baby carrots
20 baby potatoes, halved
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
1 c. canned diced tomatoes, drained
1 c. beef broth
2 celery stalks, cut in 1/2" pieces
2 T. quick-cooking tapioca
1 T. Worchestershire sauce
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/2 c. flour or dry gravy mix

Combine all ingredients in a 3 qt. slow cooker.  Cover and cook on low for about 8-10 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.  Spoon as much juice as you can get into a separate bowl.  Whisk in flour or dry gravy mix to thicken sauce to a gravy.
