1 lb extra lean ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 T. chili powder
1 t. cinnamon
1 15 oz can crushed tomatoes, drained
1 14 oz can reduced sodium beef broth
1 14 oz can pork and beans
1 T. hot chocolate mix
Cook your choice of pasta in a side pot. Drain and set aside. We used a No Yolks egg noodles and they were a good accompaniment.
Meantime, spray pan with cooking spray and heat over medium high heat. Add beef, onion, chili powder and cinnamon. Cook, breaking down the lumps of beef for about 5 minutes or until the onion softens. Stir in tomatoes and broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a active simmer and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring often, until thickened. Stir in beans and hot chocolate mix. Cook, stirring until heated through. Serve over pasta.

* Note - This style of chili is called Cincinnati and I thought what better link to the city than that of one of my favorite classic TV shows WKRP. *
