Sweet & Spicy Pork

1/4 c. brown sugar
1 t. ground mustard
1/2 t. ancho chili powder
1 t. Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning
1/2 t. garlic salt
pork loin roast

Combine first 5 ingredients until well blended.  Pour mixture on a piece of wax paper and spread.  Place the roast at one end of the rub mix and roll the roast using the wax paper to press the rub into the meat.  Move the meat into a slow cooker.  If there is rub mix left on the wax paper, scoop it up to help cover any bare spots on the meat.  Add water to slow cooker - amount depends on size of dish and roast. Cook time will also vary depending on size of roast.

*Note: This can be serve with any sides. We chose rice and wakame which complimented each other well.  For more flavour we also added some hoisin sauce to the water before pouring it into the slow cooker.
