Asian Burger

8 oz. lean ground pork
8 oz. lean ground chicken
8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained, finely chopped
2 green onions finely sliced
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 tsp sriracha
1 T red wine
1 T soy sauce

Mix all ingredients together and form into patties.  Form into patties and grill until cooked through.

Serve on your favorite flatbread or bun with your favorite fixings.  We used a little Miracle Whip, fresh coleslaw mix, sliced cucumbers and a slice of tomato on a Flatout Foldit Flatbread.

Servings: The amount of patties you get out of this recipe depends on the bread or bun you will serve it on and how thick you like your patties.  We got 4 patties a half inch thick at most and 3 to 4 inches in diameter.

Calories:   373 (for one patty with our above listed fixings)

The next day we had a couple of left over burgers so we reheated them on our grill and i brushed them with a soy sauce, sriracha and asian sesame dressing sauce.  We then took half a whole wheat pita, filled it with lettuce, tomato and cucumber.  Once the burger was heated through we cubed it and placed it in the pita as well, topping it with some of the remaining sauce.  When we do this again I would definitely cut the chicken into smaller pieces yet to make them work better in the pita.  We had this for lunch for 400 calories and were beyond stuffed!
