Rice paper wraps
Fresh raw vegetables
(lettuce, carrots, cucumber, sprouts, herbs)
Rice vermicelli, cooked as directed on package
Meat, cooked, sliced
(beef, chicken, pork, seafood)
Prepare rice paper wrap as directed on package. Place on plate and layer fillers up as desired on the half of the wrap closest to you.
Begin to wrap the rice paper by folding the bottom corner closest to you up over the filling, then folding each side in towards the center and rolling the wrap up away from you. You can dip the rolls in a variety of sauces like a Thai Peanut Sauce (see recipe in the Appetizers or Asian category of this blog) or something simple like soy sauce and vinegar like I did.
